Khan Academy Kids is incredible. Watching a toddler battle brain fatigue learning the number two because they want to is terrible and terrifying. If you let them pace themselves and treat it as a game without forcing a schedule they easily get two years ahead of schedule. But it is so much an outlier.

They have for public benefit program where they give out their paid security tiers for free? If you can get recommended into it. Build a lot of goodwill there for non-profits community.
I once left a torrent on for ~three years at 50%, obviously no one seeded that anymore. one day i realised it was completed, and i have no idea when. now i only streamed my high sea amusements, i don’t even have a torrent client on anymore, but i like to think that the three copies seeded from mine (based on uploaded data) is still out there somewhere.

There’s proton drive…which i hasn’t actually used. It looks like google drive, and there’s a photo option, but so far I’ve only used the proton mail part.
I’m learning another language, and writing by hand feels like the fastest way things get remembered in my mind. It makes the learning more…visceral, I am more engaged in things that happen instead of an audience passively absorbing and experiencing. And i think that that translates to other experiences because i love handwriting, i love the act of putting words onto paper and other medium.
Someone who engages the world another way - when your information is tied to the flow of characters instead of shaping the characters themselves, of course sees it differently. A visual artist who rarely types and puts down thought in sketches instead of words - will struggle to type their vision too when they would rather put down a series of images and just a minimum of words .
No. wouldn’t. And the kids themselves wean themselves off the kids version at about age 6 suddenly by whatever interests them - seems all:zero for all the kids I’m aware of using the kids version. But the greatest impact in my opinion is understanding a structured lesson is a skill they mastered before formal schooling which puts them ahead. Not to mention early use of english - not our mother tongue.
