Wow, this has so been our experience. Most do not reply, nor seek us out unless we talk first.
When we asked why a few weeks ago, most said “it is because I/we don’t know you that well” or “I/we think we have nothing in common” both with which can be resolved by talking more and asking questions. But most people seem to either not know how to do that or don’t want to. So we wonder why in sone cases they sought us out in the first place, or agreed to talk to us. Heh
Some others were worried about ‘bothering’ us, which we quickly rectified, so that’s nice.
Then more folks said something to the effect of “you are not a priority”, which is totally okay and good to know, just wish we would have been told sooner.
