      One of the last Discworld books centers around the invention of trains, and yeah, people were blown away.

    Judging by the location and numbering, this is Chicago & North Western 2808, a Berkshire locomotive. Although 2808 and all of her class were scrapped in the 50s, two locomotives of similar era and configuration - NKP 765 and Pere Marquette 1225 - operate today.
