This is a resubmission of an earlier image I submitted — originally on lemmy.today’s pict-rs instance — that later became inaccessible, and where a commenter complained. For some reason, whenever I try to update the image URL to point to an off-site host, lemmy.today tries instead using an URL that proxies through lemmy.today.

Uploading to catbox.moe and then creating a new post using an alternate account on a PieFed home instance as workaround.

EDIT: If I browse this post via lemmy.today, the server still intercepts the image, tries to cache it, and then fails, I assume because it’s too large. If anyone else has problems with Lemmy’s pict-rs proxy image serving on their own home instance, here’s a direct link: https://files.catbox.moe/753253.png
