The issue is that they are misleading you with lying facts. For example if I said “A person is YY times more likely to die in a hospital than at the grocery store”, that would be true but its misleading to believe that if I go to the hospital I am more likely to die than at the grocery store.

I think its mainly jealousy and lack of purpose. They think things are bad but they have never experienced countries that actually have it bad. The problem is that we are currently having the american cultural revolution and they might get what they want.

People naturally find fulfillment in work. The goal of your life should be to find work that is enjoyable and meaningful. The goal of not working is unfulfilling at best.

I think its good to keep working, but only doing the things that you actually enjoy or have value outside of a paycheck. When I “retired” I found it kind of hollow and it was not all it was supposed to be.
