But like… why a toilet? You could use the baking soda and vinegar in a bowl just as easily.
It feels like this is an elaborate troll. Are they hoping people will accidentally clog their toilets with eggs?
I many cases, no. Where I live, a 16-year-old cannot:
- vote
- enlist in the armed forces
- sign legally binding contracts
- legally purchase alcohol, tobacco products, or cannabis
- buy lottery tickets or gamble at a casino
- serve on a jury
- buy or sell property
- marry
- inherit money or property
- own a credit card
- fully control their own medical decisions
- register as an organ donor
- quit school
- get a tattoo or a body piercing
- move out of their parents’ house
Some of these things can be done with parental consent or if particular circumstances apply (such as if the child in question is legally emancipated). But broadly speaking, there are a LOT of rights, responsibilities, and options that do not apply to anyone before the age of majority (18 here).
I think you’d probably be better off talking to a local financial advisor and/or real estate agent than just asking lemmy over and over.

I’ve lived where you can skate on lakes and canals in the winter. If the ice is thick enough there’s no real concern. To become a Canadian citizen you’d have to start by emigrating here, then get your Permanent Resident status, and then apply for citizenship.

You’d be losing a lot of extra product to the trimming that way – or you’d maybe have to use individual molds for each bar. With a rectangular shape, you can pour the soap into slabs and then cut everything exactly to size with very little wastage.

In my experience a women’s wide is akin to a men’s regular.
Skunks are common city animals, so it’s a little more surprising to me that you haven’t encountered then before. But for the most part they’re pretty chill little guys, and forage widely – so seeing one in your yard doesn’t mean they’ve taken up residence. They eat grubs mostly (which is great for lawns and gardens).
As others have said, as long as you’re not getting up in their faces, you shouldn’t have any problems.
