I see. I switched from the CLI version to the desktop version when it came out and was considering switching back if it was more convenient than it currently is to use my phone’s profile on desktop, but it sounds like it really isn’t.
What do you mean with “use as a central hub for your profile”?

Emanuel@lemmy.eco.brto Open Source@lemmy.ml•What Android download manager do you recommand ?1·1 year agoAt the risk of sounding off-topic, may I ask what is the use of a download manager? I’ve known of them for years now, and yet never felt the need for one. What am I missing out on?
I saved this post so I could ask you later but forgot, so here I am 2 months later.
What I meant to ask is: did you switch from sway to swayFX or went straight into the latter? And, if you did switch, how much work is the transition, if any? Stuff like changing the config file, apps not working properly etc.

Is it possible to use a throwaway email, such as tempmail.org?
