I wish I could have the AUR without the rolling release, or more realistically I use arch without utilitizing the rolling release. I’m on such shitty + spotty + capped at 100gb I only update my system once a month. Haven’t had problems though, so I guess im not complaining. Updating my windows VMs is significantly worse
Yeah but by that time people will be posting ‘relationship ended with Wayland, (next thing) is my new best friend.’
I use Nvidia and I haven’t really had any problems myself.
Arch based system running a Nvidia Quadro card, then I have a 3080ti disabled on boot from Linux that’s passed through to VM’s.
Even passing it through to an arch based VM doesn’t give me any issues.
But that’s just my personal experience as well
A solid desktop for stabile diffusion combined with a Chromebook good enough for a remote desktop client is significantly cheaper than a laptop capable of stable diffusion. Not counting future upgradability

Are you referring to a separate thread I commented on yesterday with a totally separate user where I said “Nazi punks fuck off?”
If you took offense to that brother I’m sorry I stand by my words. Even moreso today, even.
What I’m curious in is why you commented on an unrelated comment in a different thread, with either a secondary account or you weren’t connected to it at all?

What are the selling points on endeavour over Manjaro? Or endeavourOS over arch?
I’ve been on Manjaro a hot minute, and if I were to switch, I think I’d just go to arch. But I don’t personally know anything about EndeavourOS
I’m on limited Internet (100gigs a month) and updating my flatpaks take like 5x the data vs updating my aur packages.
This leads me to only updating once a month.
