There is no app for Kbin yet.
Spanish guy, who likes open source software and has just discovered the fediverse (as of 28th of April, 2022). I like video games, and indie and retro music. I’m a student. I’m officially diagnosed with ADHD and ASD since January, 2023.
America is a continent and Americans are people from that continent (Canadians, Usonians, Mexicans, Cubans, Argentinians, Brazilians…)

I had to leave a Mastodon instance because it was about activism, gaza and politics the whole fucking day. So I perfectly understand what you feel. But I think there are ways and/or servers where everybody can feel comfortable. The mastodon server where I’m on right now, people talks about US stuff the whole day, and I’m very annoyed because of that because I don’t give a damn shit about US. But the admin is cool, people support Ukraine, and I follow funny stuff too.
Block communities spamming gaza / war / techbro
I would agree with you if those communities were/are created to post content about gaza / war / techbro. But in most cases, those communities are generic, about news and technology, so when you block them, you also block other content that is not about gaza / war / techbro.
Fourth panel, meaning Corporate & Tankie Fediverse vs Free Fediverse.
Does it shadowban mentions of Kbin/Mbin or Piefed too?
What is the relationship between the government ideology and the court system? Both are independent from each other.
Indeed. In my opinion, it’s called lemmy.world but it’s too US centric to have the .world domain.
I was about to left Lemmy/Kbin for good when some stupid fascists from Lemmy(grad).ml called me names and harassed me, despite the fact that I’m neurodivergent (like that would stop them from doing such actions, but anyway). And then I started blocking every community and user from those places, as well as any community/magazine about US politics or about any US topic because I don’t give a damn heck about that place. And my experience improved really well.
The bear doesn’t like it anymore.
Happy birthday! It’s a great European distro, and I was happy when I used it back in the day. There is only one little problem with it which can’t be fixed.
Enlace al principal servidor español de Lemmy, por si a alguien le interesa unirse.
I’m sure more toxicity will come as the user base continues to grow but, for now, this place is pretty fuckin’ cool and I appreciate you all.
One thing I learnt about toxicity during the year and few months I’m on the fediverse is that admins are more proactive to the server’s rules. There are servers with fewer rules or with poor admins/moderators, but those that are more serious, you won’t feel like you’re defenceless.
Another good thing is that you can create your own server with your own rules and a better management than the place where you were on.
So, yes, toxicity will come eventually, but with a good set of rules and decent admins/moderators to make them come into effect, this place will be wonderful.

No further comments, your honor.
It didn’t fix my problem yet.
Just to add more information or context to your answer, this site exists, so instead of people arguing about “Lemmy sucks on privacy” or “This place is a hell hole for anonymity”, maybe people should rethink about what they’re going to write.
A peanut butter jelly sandwich.
There was one made in stop motion called “Bumpy in the night”. Just two seasons, but it was fun. I liked it.
You have diaspora and friendica.
