For presentations she can check out Penpot. It’s web based, mainly for UI design, but super easy to use. Also FOSS.

Watch this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pez_Outlaw I came into it blind and absolutely loved it. It tells a cool story about the origin of pez among else.
Penpot is quite easy to use and show a presentation in. Use unsplash or pexels for images and the prototype view for presenting. If you’re not looking for FOSS there’s a lot of AI presentation tools out there.

Slack does not come preinstalled on any system, Teams does. That is the whole point, unfair competition. Large companies have a history of bullying smaller ones. Any action against these giants is long overdue and very necessary.
MMNT@lemmy.mlto Technology@lemmy.ml•Microsoft faces antitrust scrutiny from the European Union over Teams, Office 365English411·2 years agoSlack did not file a complaint because they’re losing. This is what it says in the article: Slack filed a complaint with the EU in 2020, claiming that Microsoft was “force installing [Teams] for millions, blocking its removal, and hiding the true cost to enterprise customers.” And this is investigated 3 years later than the complaint. Microsoft has a history of installing bloatware and changing default clients to open with their own software.
That’s not a design choice made by a designer. That’s a project lead or marketing deciding on how to implement more enshitification into a product.
