It used to work under different distros tho. And the xone package is specifically designed for the dongle so I’m pretty sure it should work but just doesn’t. For now Bluetooth might work but I’d be missing out on some features.

Thank you for your very detailed comment. I love how helpful the Linux community is tbh. I was mostly ranting and didn’t actually expect solutions. Thank you anyway! Sadly not using HDR and lower than 175Hz+3440x1440 is not why i bought my hardware so i don’t think HDMI or x11 will do. Thank for the suggestions anyways!
I think that has been replaced with the xone package? The arch wiki recommended that at least. I am sometimes not sure I am ready for Linux. Been trying the past year to switch using a handful of different distros and they always have issues, a lack of features or I manage to break them. Like now my screen also flickers (probably HDR or vrr related) and I can’t find anything about it. And sleep is broken. And visual glitches. You catch my drift? Haha
I am using the Microsoft dongle. Maybe that’s why…
The Microsoft one!
Arch BTW
I feel this. I’ve been spending two hours trying to get my wireless Xbox controller to work… Installing the xone packages causes freezes and kernel panicks…
The application of a balancing shaft (or not) is not something I’d classify as something development depends on but that could be a difference in opinion.
Of course we’re at least halfway over the s curve for development of the ICE. And while electric is waiting for a breakthrough in energy storage I still believe there’s a lot to be gained with ICE as well. Besides, the emotion and feeling of an ICE can be emulated but not replaced. F1 is of course about innovation but most of all “just” a sport and for fun. You don’t see football (soccer?) be about innovation. Or basketball for that matter.
Can you elaborate? ICE development is not linked to the number of cylinders I think. I wouldn’t see how it is I mean. And the V6 they use now is vastly different than the V10 of before. Mazda even developed a new way of combustion so I’d hardly say there’s no optimisation or application.
GrapheneOS has had this feature. Unlocking after a reboot is only possible with PIN. Also the RAM is wiped. This increases security and lowers the risk of attackers gaining access. Be it physically or not.
Where I live you actually don’t go to the police. Anything left of on the street belongs to the municipality so you’d have to go to the municipalities office. That said, I’d think it’s quite hard to track down owners of cash… You can inform the appropriate body in your country that they can contact you if they find the owner. Then after some time (maybe documented somewhere?) you can keep it.
CNC/lathe work is harder since it requires specialised machines which are a magnitude more expensive than a 3D printer. The method developed allows for low cost fixes to reduce the water leakage globally. Albeit maybe less reliable or permanent.
I agree wholeheartedly. But replacing all of the piping will be very expensive. I think this is more geared towards the people who don’t have the kind of money or expertise or both to replace their entire plumbing and this will help mitigate those issues by being able to connect weird sizes together. That’s at least what I got from scanning the article.
I think they are not talking about access to parts but more so custom sizes? Parametric driven is just a fancy word for using easily adjustable dimensions and linking them together. Local on demand 3D printing would mean in close proximity whenever you need it. I think the local part is trivial but alright. Customized means specific for the application.
In my house for example there’s an old central heating pipe that is out of standard so connecting any modern standard pipe or appliance to it is impossible. With a weird workaround it works but still leaks. This method of 3D printing a custom connector would solve it. Not sure what other use there is really.
I honestly thought it was a port just for a wireless dongle or something.
And it’s a great band name
Let me remove that pill without root for crying out loud!
