I had a really difficult weekend and didn’t sleep much last night, but I did sell a piece of jewelry that I’m really proud of yesterday, so that’s a bright spot.
I don’t think pictures are back yet but here’s my fused glass collection!
I’m a jeweler focusing on glass and so I spend a lot of time doodling around while my kiln runs. It’s really nice to work for myself but knowing my work relies on my ability to market it is pretty stressful.

I just wrapped a multi year BitD campaign, highly recommend.
Hi, I’m Nora! I’m a queer jeweler and I make funny bots sometimes. I am into tabletop games, leftism, colors, dragons, etc.

So I take pieces of murrine (glass rods with patterns in them) and position them in a trio shape, then I fire them to about 1450F so they round out and fuse together. Then I let them cool (they go through an annealing phase too but that’s just hanging out at 900 for an hour) and attach a bail (the silver loop) to them.
