I have to ask you about metadata nerd status…

I have a bunch of exported Google Photos and icloud Photos… photos… what’s the best way to fix the metadata as the “date taken” keeps using export date.

That’s right. I use unraid so I have my photo external share mounted as /library and immich uploads as a /immich_photos share.

The only thing that breaks is my PC when I try to run most jobs concurrently. Just be patient with it. I’m using external libraries instead of importing directly to immich storage

What are you using? I need to carve time out to get my unraid server to work with jellyfin and arr and seed with deluge. My current set up moves the files to the right folder once I have completed my download so I never get over 1.0 ratio.

I use navidrome PWA doesn’t work in android auto but I rather use a PWA versus an app

Honestly I probably should do more research but how is NC for photos compared to something like Immich or PhotopPrism?

Will the government stop or enforce other laws that prevent individuals from encrypting their own storage?

Question for the group:

Using Unraid can I pull from sonarr and then add to Jellyfin (watch it) and also seed? That would be amazing. Usually I have my deluge stop seeding so I can move the file to my data folder and not have duplicate files

I have

• Unraid back up it’s USB
• Unraid appears gets backed up weekly by a community applications (CA app backup) and I use rclone to back it up to an old box account (100GB for life…) I did have it encrypted but seems I need to fix that…
• Parity drive on my Unraid (8TB)
• I am trying to understand how to use Rclone to back up my photos to Proton Drive so that’s next.

Music and media is not too important yet but I would love some insight

It’s an easy set up too. Ibdint agree with the CEO etc but Proton duo has been easy to convince my partner to give it a shot.

Honestly I’m not sure. I had the ML on my AMD gaming PC but the other (metadata and thumbnail) services were still on the unraid server… Photoprism doesn’t have that issue at all…

I’ve switched back to PP until I sort out the microservices…

Managed to set up immich remote machine learning (old 7th gen Optiplex to gaming PC). If only I bought an nvidia card… I wasn’t able to get it my AMD 7800 XT to work with immich ML… Next up is setting up microservices because immich is crippling my unraid server 🤦🏼😭

An arr set up is not hard to do. Though I am having a hard time finding a good waybto acquire music. I have lidarr but is there a jellyseerr option for music?

I agree with WG however I need https for a few locally hosted items like actual budget so I have that through nginx proxy manager. I was debating adding Authelia in front with some of my others (audiobook shelf, home assistant and music assistant) as sometimes I disconnect from my home network and forget to reconnect.
