Yes. Stroll is a bad driver and only has a seat because Daddy bought him an F1 team for his birthday.
Disney built its entire empire on existing/public domain stories. Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Robin Hood. The list goes on. Hell even Aladdin is largely located from Middle Eastern fairy tales.
The fact that they’re relying on existing IP now is nothing new. It’s who they’ve always been. It’s just that they had to buy it since it wasn’t already in the public domain.
Doesn’t really sound like whining to me, at least in this article. Just an acknowledgement that McLaren (and Mercedes) have gotten something right with their front wing design that suits their respective cars.
I do wonder if Red Bull started focusing on next year’s car too early in the season thinking it would be a repeat of last year after Max got out to a strong start. Now they are on the back foot as it looks like the constructors could go to McLaren, and if Max has some bad luck (like a DNF or 2) the drivers could get competitive as well.
They would come up with work arounds in six months.
Six months. I give it 6 minutes. Tops
My biggest fear with this proposal is that lower wage positions just get offloaded or somehow classified as “independent contractors” or consulting or some other bullshit. Or they create some shell company to all these positions. Or some other chicanery.
Don’t get me wrong, I agree in principle. But God damn if actually enacting and enforcing wouldn’t be some legal whack a mole with these slippery bastards
That’s his secret. He’s always smiling.
The line after that, “there is no available to replace him,” was especially shocking since they do have Riccardo just sitting there
I’ve been using Boost. It has user tags, instance blocking which can even be extended to comments from blocked instances. Search is kinda eh, and sometimes gifs from less common sites won’t load, but overall I’m happy with the experience.
Previously I used Connect. It was pretty good. Had similar features as Boost, but I found more issues loading content with Connect. Admittedly that was about a year ago so things may have improved, but I haven’t gone back to check.
