There could be different linux communities on different instances, and to see them all you’d have to subscribe to them and sort by subscribed view. But yeah, in practice most of the time there will emerge one “main” linux community and, if it gets big enough, likely offshoot communities for different philosophies or more specificity.

They’re communities. And the different servers/sites are instances.

Nah, they’re fascists. Maybe not every republican, but a solid 70% or so of them. And a decent chunk of democrats too.

Liberapay is much preferred

Maybe you should make that more obvious on the page somehow? Like make Liberapay a bigger button that’s separate from the rest, or just outright say in the text that it’s preferred? Because as someone with no preference between them and considering supporting, I probably would have gone with Patreon out of inertia/recognition.
