Today I Learned@lemmy.world•TIL that incest is legal in many countries. For example: Brazil, Russia, South Korea, Japan, Mainland China (but incest is illegal in Hong Kong SAR).English
14·15 days agoThis isn’t an “um actually,” simply a weird american thing that I’ve experienced but, marriage to your first cousin is not illegal here. Prolly should be, and you aren’t wrong about it being immigration fraud but still, if it was a real marriage, there wouldn’t be anything illegal about it.

5·22 days agoYeah, yeah you can, the heck? Parody, Fair use, and a variety of other options exist for the purpose described by the guy above you.
That said, you aren’t talking about that and I can’t help but feel like the guy you are responding to is acting in bad faith by intentionally misinterpreting what you are talking about, or they’re a useful idiot who doesn’t know what they are speaking about. Dismissing what they’re talking about is unhelpful. Either provide a context correct correction, or ignore them.
Right, like how to end capitalism? I got very little, but I’m planting gardens, and not complaining that capitalism exists on /C/fuckcapitalism.
I appreciate you taking my question a face value, you’re the only one who did. Your capitalism quote worked perfectly. I was trying to use guns as my exams of shit I can’t get away from.
Your argument is invalid, the capitalists are making money. It will continue for as long as there is money to be made. Your agreement and my agreement is unnecessary.
How do we fix the problem that makes AI something that we have to deal with.
The way they were trained is the way they were trained.
I dont mean to say that the ethics dont matter, but you are talking as though this isnt already present tense.
The only way to go back is basically a global EMP.
What so you actually propose that is a realistic response?
This is an actual question. To this point the only advice I’ve seen to come from the anti-ai crowd is “dont use it. Its bad!” And that is simply not practical.
You all sound like the people who think we are actually able to get rid of guns entirely.

Lol, I guess a phrased that strangely. I’m not married to my cousin, but I have definitely been around some people who did.
