It’s very unlikely that Lemmy will ever be as big as Reddit, but this influx might have it reach a tipping point where it can start to grow users organically.

My wife has been reading a ton more books after leaving Reddit. I’ve mostly switched over to Lemmy. I’m a developer and interested in tech; my wife not so much. So she hasn’t made the jump to Lemmy yet
