I figured it was related to the hardware architecture, but I’m curious if this is for security reasons (potential exploits that the OS can’t resolve) and/or just a support bandwidth concerns managing 2 OS code bases (on top of the obvious revenue from new licenses).
If the hardware security isn’t the issue, then switching to Linux is a good money saving choice for those that are tech savvy.
I mean at a subconscious level, they have feelings for each other – a good chunk of the show is them dancing around that concept. That being said, all they both know is that it’s a marriage of convenience – neither knows the full identity of the other.
Yor constantly worries she won’t measure up to Loid’s needs, and that’s a risk to government scrutiny by the secret police. Loid worries his relationship with Yor doesn’t look airtight, and could compromise Operation Strix. Everything they do publicly to prove their relationship is legit is an act in which any enjoyment is a secondary benefit (like the scene above).
But…Loid and Yor are faking it to avoid scrutiny.
As much as I love Sync, it has been almost a year since the last update.
Oh that irony would be painful.
Better marketing, better UI, lots of users, and plenty of non-political content.

Not getting attached to your first idea/design concept is a hard one, but very important to learn.
That’s never been the case.
So sounds like their main concern is addressing the abuses of the FAANG monopolies, and only a Republican has talked to them about it.
I guess that is understandable in that very narrow lens, but it’s a bit laughable considering how all the big tech companies are also cozying up to the Trump administration. All this has done for me is make me wary of anything Proton does now.
Someone could just start a NSFW version, right?
Curious that they’re calling it “RedNote” instead of “Little Red Book.”
AI tools like this should really be viewed as a calculator. Helpful for speeding up analysis, but you still require an expert to sign off.
In a letter sent to the CEOs of the top automakers, the trio of legislators — Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Jeff Merkley (D-OR), and Josh Hawley (R-MO) — urge them to better protect customer privacy, while also dropping their opposition to state and national right-to-repair efforts.
I would have never guessed a Republican, let alone Hawley, of being party to this.
Man totally didn’t remember this episode.
Edit: It’s from the episode Mother’s Day. I do remember the episode, but not this detail. Maybe because the main focus was on Chuckie or I was too young to understand how serious Tommy’s situation was.
Here’s a screenshot on Firefox.
It feels nicer to me, and following nested comments is less tedious without the compact color lives. My friends who don’t use Lemmy prefer I send Photon links when I can.
Gonna be honest, I forgot Photobucket existed.
Thank you for sharing.
