@noumenon it depends on how old! Are you talking Windows 95 old or Dos old? Either way, step 1 I suggest is to start from Linux. Step 2 depends on your answer to the above :)

@Pro @syklemil I don’t get it either. I tried asking around in the past and it seems to come from a hate for Lennart, which gets hated for creating systemd… Something like that. It didn’t really make sense. I’m interested in newer alternatives of course but I personally use systemd all the time since 2016 at least and I don’t see any problems with it
@Yokaihauntedsprings Tekkaman! Way too cool, way too little about him. Not talking about Tekkaman Blade, I mean the original

@mo_lave I guess I just don’t see the point of asking something and then not replying, not even a “thank you”. People dedicated time to help you with suggestions, it might be cultural differences but I’d at least acknowledge them

@mo_lave is it so? Sounds like trolling then

@mo_lave seems like OP never replied to any of the advices!
@A_Random_Idiot well for example Alpha Centauri and even Civ 2 were really easy for me. I used wine without any wrappers, I simply set an older Windows compatibility version in winecfg. StarCraft also worked easily though I wasn’t able to set it to full screen properly on Wayland and had to re-login into Xorg for it. Let’s see if OP provides us with more details
