What are you hoping to achieve here? If you just dont want the tracking then I’ve found Firefox containers and the CookieAutoDelete extensions to be excellent. Contain YouTube to its own container that no other site uses and as soon as the tab closes all the cookies are deleted too. Enable all the strict privacy controls in FF too.

Any stream / download is costing something.

Aurora is back up and running. I just logged in anonymously using it and I updated apps with it yesterday. If it finally comes to it I may just have to sign up for a google account and use it solely on Aurora, but I’ll try anything else first.

Whenever I use Windows I can’t get over how utterly terrible the basic file explorer is. I swear that it was better back in the XP days. On linux I use Dolphin and have found it to be excellent. Tabs, Split screens, everything is so usable.

I’ve used Thunderbird since it was released almost 20 years ago. It has some annoying bugs around setting up accounts (get your password right or it clears the whole form), but you do it once and it works wonderfully.
