I didn’t know if I read this right, but are there cases where the app list would not be shared with other apps on the device, or does that require interference from Google?
“When an app targets Android 11 (API level 30) or higher and queries for information about the other apps that are installed on a device, the system filters this information by default. This filtering behavior means that your app can’t detect all the apps installed on a device, which helps minimize the potentially sensitive information that your app can access but doesn’t need to fulfill its use cases.”

7·2 years agoooh, I just snagged an old Pro X. Tempted to see how it runs with Linux on ARM before even messing with Win11 that’s installed.
1·2 years agoDecaf coffee (or tea) will still have more than zero caffeine. Allowable amounts vary between US and EU, but multiple repetitions of the process are needed to achieve either 97% or 99.9% caffeine free respectively.
A single pass through a decaffeination process can result in leaving up to 20% of the original caffeine content.
I’ve noticed that ublock will sometimes be blocking 1,000+ scripts while on YouTube. That’s gotta have an effect of all those are active.
