I have noticed that Microsoft and google are trying to scan my domain for /php-myadmin and similar links that I thankfully do not have.

I had already fail2ban running but it failed to ban a single IP. I did setup custom filters that would ban admin panel scanning attempts but somehow now it also bans my home IP and my phone 5G ip sometimes. No idea how to fix it so far. Also, this filter/jail doesnt necessarily jail everyone attempting to reach these links, just sometimes it does.

I am not that person but I use AI to figure out mostly computer issues that I have troubles to Google for.

I guess Google got so fucked up that even adding reddit to a prompt doesn’t yeld a good result. And if you didn’t add “reddit”, results are all over the place and you still fail to find an answer. Fuck quora, who dafuck uses quora? Never saw a good answer there like ever.

And then there is chatgp that gives you options and so far it’s been quite on point at least for me.

My guess would be it is general Google entshittification rather than superiority of LLMs. People want answers for their questions and Google is failing to provide any good info for past 5 years.

I am under-educated on this matter. Does that mean that establishments that run torrenting trackers have to seed/peer content? If so, that is very cool for people in regions where torrenting is not punished yet.

I am thinking to do this but only one thing bothers me. I want only qBittorrent to be using VPN, not the rest of the machine. Is there a way to set only qBittorrent with Tailscale?

I have to pay for a VPN service. If I can skip paying by hosting it myself, I’d go the distance. It has been fun selfhosting services so far. I want to go deeper.

Running minipc with immich pointed to NAS drive with photos. I had issues with uploading files in the background on previous version but it seems to be fixed right now.

I had issues uploading big files to it due to it stopping uploading once app is minimized. As long as app is open on screen, it would upload files with no interruption. New version seems to fix this issue for me.

I’m a newbie to the whole selfhosting thing. Been doing NAS+minipc for past 6 months with a few services running. 2 days ago I embarresed myself.

So, I been running 5 services on nginx proxy manager. But I heard that NPMplus is slightly better and can renew certs automatically. I had transferred settings from NPM to NPMplus by hand off the photo and for some reason NPMplus couldn’t work with services ran on NAS. I went back to NPM and haven’t touched the issue til last Sunday.

During troubleshooting I found out that my dumb ass didnt pay attention and put ‘’:‘’ instead of ‘’." . So 192.168.xxx.xx became 192:168:xxx:xx and that was the reason I spent whole day troubleshooting the issue.

Next goal: go back to my homeland and set Pi3 at my parent’s place to be my VPN so I can setup an arr stack and automate media downloads in a way that govt. of my current residence couldn’t put a deep hole in my wallet.

About to install Pi3 with Tailscale in my homeland to route Deluge traffic though because piracy is normality there

I would debate that Asmongold has a Charisma. People, for the reason unbeknownst to me, are enjoying to watch other people destroy themselves. Typically, their target already shows some dysfunctional behavior. Asmon is textbook this case. There is no charisma. He is just attracting spectators by destroying his image and his personality.
