The best part about contracts with clauses that are illegal is that it voids it can void the entire contract. So all they’ve done besides trying to be bullies is void their own NDAs.

Private mode is absolutely not private at work even if it’s enabled. They see everything you access with their network and know exactly where the traffic is coming from and going to.

Despite all the problems we have in the United States, this would be struck down in court SO fast due to the first amendment to our constitution. The government making a list of speech you are not allowed to hear is pretty much the most cut and dry violation of that.
There have been several instances reporting massive amounts of bot accounts. They are working on purging them and have started enabling captcha to stop new ones.
Severability doesn’t always work with employment contracts like this. Google recently fucked around and found out.
