Ey @linuxguys I might install a desktop distro on a notebook with Nvidia card I no longer really use to get used to it. I sometimes have to work with Debian servers but I have no more than basic knowledge about Linux. Any distro recommendations, regarding desktop use and gaming (if the notebook is supported at all…)?

So I guess you want to get more mature recommendations?
To your eternity - very beautiful, but not finished yet
Ghost in the Shell - a must watch
Samurai Champloo - very fun
Texhnolyze - just watch 1 or 2 eps to see if it is for you
Serial experiments Lain - not about adults but confusing and more Seinen I’d say
Hellsing Ultimate - gory vampire hunter series that also is a bit silly
And of course the Ghibli movies are highly recommended

Linux@lemmy.ml•Ask Lemmy: Traditional vs natural mouse scrolling; which do you use?
52·2 years agoNah a touchpad feels more like a smartphone display than a mouse, so “natural” scrolling it is. Inverted Y for gaming too. I think it depends on what you grew up with - playstation and Xbox don’t use it per default but Nintendo (at least old consoles and games) does I think, so I cannot switch back to not inverted, it feels unnatural.

“my dad”
I do not own him. Wtf is that argument?? It’s not a descriptor of ownership but relation.
