I like how everyone in this thread is pretending that there are good guys somewhere when in the entire history of humanity there have never been good guys.

Yeah no I’ll trust some rando on social media over actually seeing multiple news threads from several trusted sources and has been widely known globally for the last few decades.
You should learn to park properly.

Linux@lemmy.ml•What are the silliest reasons people have given you for not wanting to try Linux?

Today I Learned@lemmy.world•TIL that the USA has an application form that's 136 pages long to be filled by people applying for positions that involves national security.English
20·3 months agoThere are a lot of positions that don’t work directly for the government that still require an sf86. Many of them are considered critical workers or in many of the cases contractors have the funds sitting in the Treasury or with their company and continue to get paid even if there is a shutdown.
Even funnier is now many contractors factor in government shutdowns into the total cost of the contract so the work can continue while the government is shutdown.

Cool Guides@lemmy.ca•Well that explains everythere. Where AI gets its factsEnglish
14·3 months agoOf the nearly decade I spent on that platform I averaged 1 post and 5 comments a day. I had a habit of bullshitting a lot of stuff to get people’s emotions out and pointing out a lot of hypocrisy.
So if your AI is full of shit, you can thank me by telling it to go fuck itself.

7·5 months agoThey are on what their 3rd delay now? I wouldn’t hold my breath on that being released next year either.
But if it does I would grab it quick before Nintendo sues them out of existence.

Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•Culvers credits you for ordering healthy drinks
12·5 months agoYou’re actually paying a standard price for a drink which is the top two items, the ones you see with negative means they are cheaper than standard price and the rest are additional charge… Even the top hint of Required Select 1 is another clue that it’s not a credit to your meal but you are actually being charged.
Even funnier is they are discounting the prices for kids drinks yet if you order a kids meal you get the drink for free, at least in my area that’s how it works.

Also Author: only points out how people are arguing about how Bluesky is decentralized.
Author: Mission Accomplished.

Can’t have that. Got to have subsidies for the billionaires and mega 500 corporations.
