She is unrelenting and unwavering in her fight (slaughter) of demonkind. When others hears them out she begins laying out a plan to destroy them. And what is it she calls them? “Monsters who mimic human speech”

tissek@sopuli.xyzto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•what exercises work for you to avoid back pain?2·8 months agoMy go to is dynamic exercises that forced you to stabilise the core. Kettle bell swings (including one handed variants), halos, around-the-world, atlas swings etc. Thus combined with mobility drills from the hip (where many back muscles start) and up takes for me care of any after work pain.
tissek@sopuli.xyzto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•what exercises work for you to avoid back pain?6·8 months agoNot diminishing the effects of stronger back muscles but the stretch and decompression of the spine in the hang part does it’s part. I love that bit, just hanging there getting stretched from arms to arse.

Floating around on ones back is seriously underrated. You just drift around a bit, relax and disconnect for a bit.
I assemble and disassemble industrial machinery for final testing. I already do the opposite of what I do?
tissek@sopuli.xyzto Shirts That Go Hard@lemmy.world•German medieval metal stars. "hetero is not compulsory. homofobia is disgusting"English0·1 year agoYou want to open a can of awesomeness? Well you got it. This is by no means an exhaustive list nor any that covers the whole spectrum. Some bands are serious others much more lighthearted. Generally all of these have strong folk metal influences drawing inspiration from the middle ages (fall of Rome to fall of Constantinople). Go wild. If I were to do a “top five tracks” from a few bands I would choose Cruachan, Heidevolk, Månegarm and Skálmöld
Cruachan - irish/celtic
Eluveitie - celtic gaul
Feuerschwanz - german “high medieval”
Equilibrium - german
Heidevolk - dutch
Norse/Viking (here I just dump a bunch) - Amon Amath, Brothers of Metal, Ensiferum, Månegarm, Skálmöld, Tyr
Alestorm - PIRATES, a humorous bonus for the funzies

Installing a system ruleset, adding a few modules and other things on that level is easy. If you can use an app store you are set. Writing custom things I have no clue about.
Finally using it. I’ve found it smoother than roll20 and fantasy grounds. Just not having to deal with roll20’s technical baggare is truly awesome.
In the end my impression is that on a technical level it is much easier to handle. Less figuring out how not to have the platform work against you and actually work with it.
You, depending on your ISP, may have troubles self hosting. There is the biggest technical hurdle.
A good rear rack, some luggage straps along with roomy panniers and hou can haul really lots of things. Surprising amounts.
A bench, adjustable dumbbells and a pullup bar will get you there. Lots of home/garage gym information out there. And then there is body weight training, yoga etc if you don’t want to work with weights.
But then there is the motivation and discipline factors. For me it is easy to put on a workout video but also easy to not really put in any effort. I’m bad at holding myself accountable at home. So instead I go the gym. One should also never ignore the social aspect of hitting the gym even if you seal yourself off with headphones and never talk to anyone. You do become part of the group/scene. And if your gym offers them I will recommend classes.
