As others have mentioned, if it was all free, it would be riddled with ads. You really only have two options, ublock and customize your blocked elements, or pay.

Yeah the list on the wiki doesn’t make the data very clear. Oregon and Wyoming are the only states where there’s still a death penalty AND have 0 death row inmates. Took me a few minutes to realize as well.

There are way more states without any death row inmates.

I just dropped Sync. I’ve used it for reddit since the app came out. Even paid for the premium version years ago. My purchase didn’t carry over to the lemmy version, and I noticed the app collects data for marketing now. Switched to Voyager, it’s not as fluid as Sync but I’ll get used to it.

Use Sync! I used it for years for reddit. They had to shut down with the other third party apps, but they just came back with Lemmy.

I started lurking here back when Sync shut down for reddit. I noticed that I haven’t seen the terms “chaotic good”, “feedback loop”, or “play stupid games…” used incorrectly/excessively here. Not to mention the one word, all caps, comments that have 1k+ upvotes for some reason.
