And people claim there’s a god watching over us who set this world up
And people claim there’s a god watching over us who set this world up
You need to take a hard look at your life, and maybe seek some therapy
I’m talking about empty apartments and I assume someone comes to check up the state of the apartment once a day or more
Why do we even need people to show us apartments. My best experience when looking for a my last apartment was a place that had a automated system, you scan your drivers license for verification, their app gives you the address and the time to visit, when you get there it gives you a lockbox code that will contain the keys to the apartment, you check the apartment out and return the keys to the lockbox on your way out, this should be the default for every rental apartment visit. Every agent I had to deal with was less than useful, this industry needs to die.
And bam, new laws come out that makes it illegal for more than X people who aren’t related to each other to share a home.
This is actually a thing in many places so people can’t do what you just described, isn’t American Freedumb so beautiful
Daniel Radcliffe has so much range
I like to throw random thoughts out there cause I found it interesting or funny, it’s nice if it gets any engagement cause I don’t have anyone to talk about this stuff in real life
Well they do hide their own guy amongst the players who can influence the vote
I’m angostic but coming from a polytheistic culture it’s very weird to me when such people approach me, at least the other religious people mostly mind their own business around me, not once in my life I’ve been approached by anyone of them asking me if I’ve heard the good news, it’s like they don’t even see me, there’s no light behind their eyes, just a desperate need to recruit. Even worse are the shit heads who try to be sneaky about it, they’ll spark up a conversation about some topic of interest, ask for your number and then hound you to come to their creepy cult meetings, this lot infested my campus in Texas. If there is a god I’m sure he saw what we became and threw our universe in the cosmic trashcan and went on to make a better universe
Yup, and we have so many different regional cuisines but you’ll mostly just find north Indian and a little bit of south Indian restaurants in the US
I think the Chinese government also supported the Chinese restraunt industry similarly in the US
I think you are overestimating the intelligence required to get a degree in this country, also lots of intelligent people have religious beliefs of some level.
And most people who don’t necessarily believe in god or practice any religion still respond to such questions with whatever religion they were born into because it’s not important enough to them to take a hard stance like calling themselves atheist, or maybe they choose to be agnostic so they might not pick the atheist option.
My point is lots of factors go into surveys like these, they don’t necessarily paint a super accurate picture, since any type of survey will have some external and internal biases and sampling issues baked into them
I’ve seen vertigo and psycho, amazing movies, the others are on my list
See that’s the thing, you want an amusement ride that’s fun, but movies can be more than that, if you can’t have fun anymore, try watching something that’s not trying to be fun, and maybe something clicks, I recently watched 12 Angry Men on a whim, it’s about 12 jurors discussing on a virdict for a man accused of killing his father, this movie came out in 1957, it’s black and white, I didn’t think I could even sit through such a old movie let alone like it, but it was one of the most engaging movies I’ve ever seen and the plot felt so relevant to the current times.
Some other stuff I saw recently that I liked :
Predator Killler of Killers
Sinners
Warfare
The Rule of Jenny Pen
Friendship
The Life of Chuck
Son you sound young, there’s a lot more to cinema than popcorn flicks like marvel movies, they didn’t stop making good movies, it’s just harder to find and requires people put their money and time to go watch something other than summer blockbusters, expand your taste and maybe also watch older movies, many local theatre’s do reruns of older classics
I’m not like the other girls, I stopped caring about superhero movies long before others
I’m glad someone commented this cause Dune 2 was the first thing that popped to my mind
I’ve not read the book yet but I’ve seen the movie and it’s enjoyable by itself, maybe not a great adaptation, but still it was not terrible
It’s like if the underground rats of New York built their own society lol
