I tried switching to the deb package and it was all the same issues. I think I got it working though. Just forced compatibility in Steam and it eventually worked. Still don’t fully understand why.

I figured out the issue. Really weird. Steam compatibility mode was disabled so enabling it made my controller work. No idea why. Thanks for the reply though!
