This used to be what people said about digg and then about reddit
I found porn in the woods my dude - friend’s houses, parent’s stashes. It’s always been available, although not so readily.
While I tried to prevent access for my own kids also, I accepted that after a certain age they’re going to be interested and be able to find it. Their mother and I had some tangential talks about it with them and let them know it’s not realistic at all. As far as I know, everyone turned out okay. Normal lives and relationships and all.
I’m not convinced that whatever they found as they were growing up was as harmful as you’re making it sound. You’re making a lot of bold, unsourced claims. Although now that I think about it, I don’t know how you can ethically do a lot of research on the topic.
I believe a bigger topic, and one that plays into what you’re concerned about, is early use (especially unmonitored) of any networked computing devices. Maybe make smart phones or PCs adult only like alcohol, tobacco, or guns. If the family chooses to have one in the home it’s up to the parents to make it safe.
It can actually be a lot of work to do this. Researching species appropriate to the biome and removing invasive ones

Graphics worked out of the box for me. In order to get wifi running I needed more recent firmware. IIRC, all I had to do was drop the file in.
So just an extra dose of whataboutism.
I don’t plan to respond to anything else from you here.
You seem to forget that the Democrats ran against Trump. The extent to which they willingly “sat down with” him is the extent to which they were obligated. They weren’t blithely enjoying his company at the table, they were arguing with him at it.
I suspect you know the difference and that you’re arguing in bad faith.
Oh I’m not advocating that you switch distributions. If you’re happy with performance there’s no reason to change.
The only thing that gives me pause with outdated drivers is the possibility of being exposed to unpatched security vulnerabilities. But in my experience Debian does provide updates when it’s critical.
Presumably because things like Mesa and video drivers would be somewhat out of date
Work is using my wifi. But it has its own VPN anyway.
Do you know of a reason to trust your ISP?
That’s a pity. I was looking for a service to jump to from my current email and VPN. They were the top candidate but not in consideration now lol.
In my case it was the leading 0 for decimal values not being implied. And thank you for the lack of telemetry, despite it leaving you in the dark regarding usage. I get tired of being tracked across every app and service.
Sorry to continue harassing you about it!
I’m going to be going Linux only in the near future. Do you know if that software is Linux/deck compatible?
Thanks! How does that “ultimate software” for PC work, is it necessary?
This one? It says Bluetooth is only for Apple devices.
That sounds great, are there different models? What are you using?
As long as they have a group to scapegoat
I’m running a navidrome instance as well that I connect to with tempo. They can share libraries (or at least I have, without any issues)
