You can see another hole a few inches back from the initial ricochet.

Another fantastic demonstration of how a ballistic helmet’s primary function is NOT protection from rifle/pistol rounds but rather a secondary function. They are primarily designed to protect from shrapnel and blunt force trauma.

He criticizes the duopoly and the oligarchy, but I know those loyal to the duopoly tend to become tribal if people don’t outright support one side and hate the other.
Glenn has proven himself as a journalist with his reporting of Edward Snowden and much more.
He does not fall into simplistic political groups, so I understand the frustration some political factions have with people like him.
Which people do you recommend if Glenn Greenwald does not meet your standards?

Just got sync for Lemmy
As an anonymous user, you can see: Everything
Under this there are 3 sections: Post Sort, Communities, and Instances.
So just clicking communites should show you all of them while also being able to search for some.
You can also search through instances by clicking one, then clicking communities.

jimmydoreisalefty@lemmy.worldto Proton @lemmy.world•Lemmy gets an error when submitting a post while connected with Proton VPN.English36·11 months agoI am on a well-known VPN, and the same thing happens once in a while.
On Destop and on the Lemmy apps (Jerboa, Infinity for Lemmy, etc.).
I am not sure if connection is lost while making post, but rarely it goes through.
I do double check before I redo the post again to try to make sure I don’t create a duplicate post.
On my end, it may be my connection to wifi or some setting on my system that losses connection.
Again, it happens once in a while, so I know when it does not go through and keeps loading to post, I will have to exit and start over to create a new post.
TIL.
Thanks for sharing!
Edit: added quote below
By design, WebExtensions is more limited than the promiscuous extension mechanism. By design, it also works better. Most of the Firefox development tax has disappeared, as only the WebExtensions API needs to be protected, rather than the entire code of Firefox. Most of the maintenance tax has disappeared, as the WebExtensions API are stable (there have unfortunately been a few exceptions). It is also much simpler to use, lets add-on developers share code between Firefox and Chromium add-ons and should eventually make it easier to write extensions that work flawlessly on Desktop and Mobile.

Assassination attempts and murder of activists and politicians due to disagreements.
I think it goes back to dividing the working class and keeping us entertained so we don’t pay attention to the status quo.

Israel’s goal is not to get rid of Hamas or their leadership.
Their real goal has been to continue the genocide of the Palestinian people so as to take 100% control of the Palestinian land and to kickout the natives.
