I’m… not moving again.
Done today, it would acknowledge the valid existence of different sexual and gender identities, which would be an absolutely monumental shift in messaging. Even during Democratic leadership, it would be signal support for rights and equality, instead of diagnosis and demonizing.
My autisitic son insists that pink isn’t a real color and has no business being included in any rainbow.
If the White House in the US raised the same flag today, would it have meaning?

Realistically, gene editing will never be affordable for the vast majority of the world’s population. But today, abortion is chosen up to 93% of the time instead. If the alternative is a live, healthy birth, I can’t see any ethical issues.
My understanding is that women with down syndrome only have a 30-50% chance of fertility, and men are generally infertile. Additionally there are laws in place to prevent those with mental disabilities from being taken advantage of sexually, which lessens the chance of children even more. It’s a spontaneous mutation, so they wouldn’t be removed from the gene pool.
The train is already being ran, staffed, and maintained. The only difference is the cost of applying brakes as this stop and then restarting the engine. So you should be comparing having all passengers buy a vehicle instead of just this one student, or only the cost of stopping the train at this station.
Most of the time, the obvious doesn’t need to be stated.

When is the last time you checked?
Unfortunately it actually just means less computer literacy. If you can’t use a computer you just stay on your phone.
