Most of my random DMs are some sort of business marketing pitch or slow burn confidence scammer. I wouldn’t volunteer any real information about yourself until you get to know them better. And even then, especially the crypto scammers, are willing to do the slow burn because they’re going for a larger jackpot of your life savings.
I tell everyone “I have a policy for never doing business with anyone I never met face to face.”
This is a time where it’s hard to be away from politics. I switched to all tech news after the U.S. election, and the tariffs are strongly influencing the supply and demand, and the convict is skewing crypto ponzi schemes in his personal favor which has a lot of influence on hardware. He has Musk that’s trying to influence hard on AI which also impacts a lot of our hardware.
Can’t fucking get away from it, really.
That’s great, hopefully they don’t discontinue the line just like Microsoft did with their adaptive mouse.
I don’t fucking get the religious right in my country, all I can say is they’re so fucking gullible by the corporate mainstream media, facts and hit them in the fucking face and they’ll always move the goalposts. They form an opinion and never be swayed by it, despite the strong evidence against it. They picked a guy who cheated on every wife he has, a criminal past, massive security clearance violations, is the most un-christlike in behaviors… And they excuse it all because they don’t like being told they can’t do things that are harmful to ourselves, or they only like receiving socialism but don’t like the responsibility of paying into it. They’re selfish as fuck, and I’m sick of it.

Historically, that’s how they usually rolled out features requiring a Plexpass - It usually depended on the server owner owning Plexpass. This move, however, makes me think they’ll probably change that for shared to others via E-mail.

A lot of what they paywall depends on if the server runner’s account is a Plexpass holder. You might have to pay a one time fee for the app depending on what platform you choose.
Then again, there’s different ways of sharing your server, they might be keen on only including Plexpass for the Plex Home users and then paywall the E-mail shared users.
My wife’s employment (a national company providing services to homes) not only embraced the remote work that COVID forced her into, they closed down their central customer service call center to save that money.
This year they’re talking about taking all the administrative people out of the local offices and only needing the service people pick up supplies and having the remote workers pick up the volume.
