Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•Ad companies should just cut out the middle man and pay me to watch their ads
8·1 month agoWell, ads are just a middle man for increasing desire to buy a product. So you could just cut out the ad middle man as well and just buy the products you want.
Not sure I would call AI, but it is strikingly easy to mask out the leaf with a design and leave a blue sky behind with Photoshop or similar. Especially compared to the absurd amount of diligent work required to cut a real leaf.
Now, the creation of the cute design could be a skilled vector artist or AI, but to me it doesn’t scream AI.

1·1 year agoLooks really nice!
But to be honest, what I and many devs I speak with need these days is some data explorer tool, like Jailer data browser, that gives you kind of the diagram that you do, but with a subset of concrete rows in the database and how they link together.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is it really possible to tax the rich?
3·1 year agoThe newly elected government is actually quite cost efficient in this regard. Since they already are all crooked business men, they don’t need to pay anyone to get those tax laws passed.
