I have known a couple who were anti-US when they went in. One had very few other options financially, and the other figured why not get their education on the country’s dime, get trained on how to be stronger and how to fight, and then use those talents to do their part in bringing down the system once they got out. Even while they were in, they were training people on the outside. One of their trainees was a top operative in Seattle in 2020; they kept the cops at bay in the Capitol Hill Autonomized Zone (CHAZ) for a month.

Keep in mind, I’m not saying don’t be wary of enlisted people…definitely be wary. Just don’t paint with such broad strokes. Some have needs, some have reasons, and some are in the process of becoming radicalized.

Texas schools need $X funding. The Texas Lottery was meant to add $Y dollars to education. The lottery was sold to the public as meaning schools would be funded to the tune of $(X + Y) each year.

Instead, the state funds $(X - Y). Instead of supplementing education funds, the lottery supplants it. And it’s the exact same thing with tipping culture.

(I’d bet this is how most state lotteries which fund education operate.)

How will the uberwealthy not feel the effects of capitalism crumbling and money becoming worthless?

To be perfectly honest, I hope they tank the entire country and western civilization by extension. I know, I know…the most oppressed among us will suffer the most. Like, I get it.

But the fall of capitalism has been in the fucking mail for a few decades now, and I need it to hurry up and happen. My autism leads me to get irrationally anxious and upset when natural consequences don’t ensue, and everything still not having come crashing down around us when it is what this country deserves is REALLY fucking with my head.

I don’t see MAGA people as the enemy because they want to pay less in taxes. I see them as the enemy because they don’t think my kids should exist in society and are actively passing legislation to make it so.
