sadbehr@lemmy.nzto Technology@lemmy.ml•Google accused of directing motorist to drive off collapsed bridge683·2 years agoAfter looking at the picture of the bridge in the article, it looks like it should have either been fixed or blocked by a large only moveable by heavy machinery barrier of some description.
What if someone was using a 15 year old paper map? Would they get to sue the cartographer?
What if the bridge had collapsed yesterday? Last week? As much as I don’t like Google, I don’t think they’re at fault here.
I don’t know why but I just absolutely love pictures like this.

After a day and a half I somewhat understand instances now and have switched to a smaller one. Hopefully other reddit refugees will do it too.

Literally did this last year with my laptop that would shut down constantly, often unable to even boot into Windows. Figured it was just stuffed cos it’s a hundred years old.
Chucked Mint on, runs like a boss. Happy to say since then I have owned no Windows devices.
