I have an iPhone for work purposes, the lightning connector does it too. I think the only way it would have been avoided is with something considerably less shallow, and then they’d have mechanical cable retention problems to solve
I’d argue that they’re partially right (or at least not entirely wrong) to blame the specification. If the specification makes it easy for crappy manufactures to be crappy, then the specification probably should have planned for that in a better way. And crappy manufactures being crappy is a tale as old as manufacture. Yeah I know there are cable marking requirements, but clearly nobody gives a flying fuck. The USB IF has basically all of the power in this situation, and their members collectively control a significant percentage of the planets wealth, so it’s actually their problem to solve.
There was a single MAGA with a trump flag at a protest I attended. But the worst that happened was everyone booed them and then a small group followed her around.
Seems like it will be around for some time, based on the developers comments
Hi, Syncthing-Fork is a personal project, originally meant to keep the Android app alive for my friends and family. I’ve shared this work from the very beginning and will do so when I hit the code for updates. I will primarily do compatibility with the Android phones “we” use here, so that’s currently the range from Android 10 to 14. Feature development is currently not on my roadmap. I myself use the app and depend on the availability of Syncthing on the Android platform for my own workflows. You’re welcome to use the releases on F-Droid or my GitHub if you like the fork. Kind regards, Catfriend1
Is there really? Long time splunk admin, I would love to see this
You could try leaning it over on a slant, like 60 degrees so it’s not in aggressive overhang territory, and then design in a custom support that can be cut off after. Since it doesn’t need to be optically anything the marks from the support cutaway don’t matter.
Afaik you need some external resource to coordinate the punch. The STUN protocol is purpose built for this, and both clients need to be able to reach a STUN server to coordinate which port and public IP they’ll try to connect to each other on. I assume this does something similar but with p2p network tech instead of a STUN server.
Oh I don’t think I actually have low testosterone, I’m just joking about what “masculinity” means and how it is nonsense to define it by how much of one hormone someone has
It’s like you just described me but instead of decorating I do most of the cooking. Low T males unite, there are probably dozens of us
I encountered this same VLC issue on Manjaro this week, so YMMV.
